Community solar park Bundorf 125 MWp – one of the largest PV systems in Germany

One of the largest PV systems in Bavaria and Germany is located in the municipality of Bundorf. With a total output of 125 MWp, the community solar park will supply the equivalent of around 37,500 households with energy in the future. This corresponds to more than 131 billion kWh of renewable electricity and heat per year and reduces the municipality's CO2 emissions by around 90,000 tons. The project was realized by MaxSolar.

meteocontrol supplied several blue'Log XM systems for monitoring, and the VCOM Cloud is also used. A yield report was also carried out in advance.

As part of Smarter E 2024 Europe, the project received the Smarter E Award in the Outstanding Projects category.

The collaboration between MaxSolar and meteocontrol is an important element for us. By integrating advanced monitoring technologies, we can significantly increase the efficiency and reliability of solar installations. We look forward to further successful cooperation.
