Technical inspection

Independent quality assurance of photovoltaic projects

Our technical inspection provides a reliable appraisal of the quality of your PV system. The main components are inspected and assessed on site, tailored to your requirements. A random thermographic inspection can pay special attention to the solar modules or electrical connections. The system can be inspected at any time: during the construction phase, during commissioning, at the end of the warranty period, or for transactions on the secondary market.

Your benefits

  • Early identification of defects
  • Security of investment due to end-to-end technical inspection

Services

Construction supervision

  • Technical advice for the investor
  • High level of transparency due to regular and objective assessment of the construction progress
  • Assessment of the current state of the installation
  • Support with scheduled commissioning, thus safeguarding the calculated revenue
  • On-site presence for direct communication between the investor and construction team
  • Quality control during the construction phase
  • Identification of defects prior to technical acceptance
  • Checking of milestones for the approval of payment instalments

Technical inspections

  • Project specifications check
  • Visual inspection of all components
  • Recording of tilt and shading angles
  • Detailed measurements on site (e.g. thermographic inspection of the PV modules)
  • Identification and documentation of defects
  • Review of commissioning and manufacturer's reports
  • Summary report including recommendations for action
  • An integral part of the technical acceptance of new projects or the acquisition of existing projects

Thermography

  • Detection of faults and defects based on temperature differences
  • Module thermography (ground-based or by drone): Localization of inactive modules or cell areas, short circuits in the solar cell structure or defective solder joints
  • Electrothermography: Check of electrical connections (e.g. inverter, transformer, low-voltage main distribution board)

Document verification

  • Check of the system documentation (as-built documentation) for completeness from a technical perspective
  • This includes, among other things, the inspection of plans, data sheets, certificates, reports and protocols
