Dubai International Academic City
Together with ENOVA, meteocontrol completed their project of a rooftop pv plant for Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), one of the region’s largest academic hubs, within eight weeks. Thanks to the installed power of 2.15 MWp, up to one fifth of the 12 university buildings’ electricity demand can be covered. For the project meteocontrol realized the system performance monitoring based on blue’Log XM/XC combined with the Cloud-based remote monitoring platform VCOM.
- Location: United Arab Emirates
- Completion: 2021
- Installed Power: 2.15 MWp for rooftop and carport
- Data station commercial
- blue’Log XM/XC
- Sensors

- VCOM setup
Dubai Industrial City
The Dubai Industrial City (DIC) is one of Dubai’s largest industrial hubs supporting local and international businesses with integrated offerings such as industrial land, warehouses, workers' accommodation, commercial office spaces, showrooms and open yards. For a rooftop pv system with an installed power of 1459.62 kWp meteocontrol realized the system performance monitoring based on blue’Log XM/XC combined with the Cloud-based remote monitoring platform VCOM.

Dragon Mart and Ibn Battuta Mall
Together with the Dragon Mart, Ibn Battuta Mall has 12,000 solar panels, cutting the carbon footprint and thus reducing more than 3,500 tons of CO2 yearly. As one of the largest themed shopping malls, both offer a great possibility to seize the mall’s rooftop for solar energy production. For the partner ENOVA, meteocontrol equipped both malls with the Data Station X-Series Indoor, the blue’Log XM/XC, meteorological sensors and the cloud-based remote monitoring platform VCOM to achieve an optimal operation of the systems.
